Donna Mae Phillips, age 86 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Donna was born on September 5, 1927 to the late Melvin and Helen (Storer) Dutton in Marion.
She was a graduate of the Marion Harding High School class of 1945. She worked in housekeeping at Marion General Hospital and retired from the Marion City Schools as a custodian.
On January 2, 1947, Donna married Clyde Eugene Phillips in Marion. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Besides her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by 3 daughters, Caroline, Bonnie, and Connie Phillips, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, as well as a special aunt, Esther Storer. Donna is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Phillips, Sr., Stephen A. Phillips, and Ronald L. (Caryl) Phillips, all of Marion, her daughter Betty J. (Allen, Sr.) Williams also of Marion, her brothers James Storer, Paul Storer, and Larry Storer, a sister, Kathy Baughman, as well as 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Donna will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Stephen Phillips presiding. Burial will immediately follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4-7 PM, also at the funeral Home.
