Gearldean A. Timmons age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1934 in Marion, Ohio to the late Walter E. and Mary Belle (Fleming) Drake.
On May 22, 1953 she married John F. Timmons.
Gearldean was formerly employed at Sears, The Harding Hotel and the Marion Star. and was a lifetime resident of Marion.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John F. Timmons Jr. of Marion, Oh., her children, Ross A. (Susan) Timmons of Boynton Beach, Fl., Melody K. Utley of Marion, Oh., her grandson, Joshua C. Utley of Marion, Oh., and her great grandson, Camorian C. Utley.
Visitation for Gearldean will be Monday, January 6, 2014 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 7, 2014 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Hord officiating. Burial will follow at Radnor Cemetery.
