James Earl Beard, 80, formerly of Richwood died Tuesday evening, January 14, 2014 at the Gables at Green Pastures. He was born April 15, 1933 in Richwood to the late Lawrence David and Leah Beard.
He was a dedicated farmer all his life and really enjoyed his tractors.
He is survived by a brother, Willie Beard, Richwood; a sister, Etta Mae Hitt, Richwood; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters; two brothers; two half-brothers; and four half-sisters.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:30 PM in the York Cemetery with Pastor Paul Reynolds officiating.
