Evonda J. Johnson age 86 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Monday January 13, 2014 at Kindred Health Care of Marion.
She was born December 28, 1927 in Marion to the late Charles T. and Wymadotte (Rollison) Lusk.
On June 21, 1947 in New Port, Ky., she married Paul W. Johnson and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2008.
Evonda was a member of the Marion Senior Center. She also had a very strong faith walk and she knew her savior, no more tears, no more pain, and no more night.
Evonda leaves behind a daughter and a son; Jeri Bowers of Marion, Ohio and Thomas A. (Carol) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio. One grandson and two great-granddaughters also survive; Scott (Brianna) Johnson, and Abigail and Amelia Johnson, as well as several nieces and nephews survive.
Besides her parents and her husband, Evonda was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother; Mary Campbell, Connie Long, Glenna Farley, Roxie Smith, and Charles A. Baker.
