Dorothy Mae Howell age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born December 29, 1923 in Cunard, Wv., to the late Seth and Mary (Rambeau) Summerfield.
On August 16, 1946 she married Charles A. Howell, he preceded her in death on July 16, 1995.
Dorothy was employed at Marion General Hospital and Community Nursing Home as a LPN for 20 years and was a longtime member of Heritage Bible Church.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Rose) howell of Columbus, Oh., Robert (Carol) Howell of Larue, Oh., Richard (Brenda) howell of Caledonia, Oh., Rebbecca Artz of Greensboro, Nc., Kathy (Enos) Henderson of Gibsonville, Nc., Darla Howell of Marion, Oh., seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister, Charlotte Delridge of Ga.
Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothres and four sisters.
Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2014 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 @ 11 AM at Heritage Bible Church, 193 Marion Williamsport Rd., with Pastor Gary Brugger and Pastor John Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
