Last Chance to Purchase Dog Tags Without Penalty

The Marion County Auditor’s Office is reminding residents that Friday, January 31, 2014 is the last day to purchase dog tags without a $16 per tag penalty. You can purchase dog tags at the auditor’s office and at the Marion County Dog Pound, but you can also purchase them online.

When buying tags online, there is a $2 processing fee per dog tag plus a 50 cent charge for shipping. Tags may be purchased online until midnight on Friday.
