Lisa E. Thaw, age 45, of Florida and formerly of Marion, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Cocoa, Florida.
Lisa was born on November 30, 1968, in Marion, OH to the late Donald J Thaw and Victoria E Moore. Lisa was raised by her step “mom” Sandy Thaw.
Lisa was a 1988 graduate of Harding High School, loved to garden, cook, and plant flowers. She enjoyed being outdoors, going to the beach and swimming. She was currently a stay at home mom to her 4 year old son, Chevy.
Lisa is survived by children, Joshua (Amy Cramer) Thaw, Linsay Liggett, ChevyRay Edwards, Debbie Edwards, Levi (Brandy Reed) Edwards, and Courtney Liggett; 8 grandchildren, her fiancé, Jason Edwards in Fl., brother, Johnny Thaw of Marion; sisters, Julie Sanner of Columbus, Lisa Arthur of Marion, Kari Sanner of Marion, Lori (Tim) Sanner-Gafkjen of Marion, Jill (Todd Murphy) Sanner of Marion, and Dawn Thaw-Boyd of Prospect; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by son, Patrick Liggett and grandmother, Valeska Thaw.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 5 until 8PM. Funeral services will be observed 1PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors.
