Donald Wayne Wilcox, age 73, of Marion passed away late Friday evening at Marion General Hospital.
He was born in Galion, Ohio on December 23, 1940 to Clifford and Virginia (Mutchler) Wilcox.
Donald married the former Diane Pinyerd on April 30, 1966 and she survives at home.
A machinist by trade, he worked for 40 years at HPM in Galion and also worked at America Showa.
Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his Springer Spaniels. He was also a huge OSU Buckeye fan and loved cheering on his favorite NASCAR driver; Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by his wife; Diane, 2 sons; Shawn (Sallly) Wilcox and Keith (Kerri) Wilcox, 1 daughter; Laura (Dale) Jeter, 3 grandchildren; Andrew, Mathew and Amanda and 1 great-grandchild; Hudson. He was preceded in death by a sister; Patricia Atkinson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor David Holdren officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5 PM until the time of services.
