James E. Brammer, 87, of Marion

James E. Brammer age 87 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his residence.

He was born February 7, 1927 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Neal and Ruth (Crabtree) Brammer.

On November 7, 2009 he married Helen (Walke) Brammer.

James was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII in Japan and the Phillipines. He was employed at MPS as a crane operator for many years.

James is survived by his wife, Helen Brammer of Marion, Oh., his son, James E. Brammer Jr. of Marion, Oh., step son, Robert (Ronda) Blinn of Batavia, Oh., sister, Loretta (Don) Moury of Cardington, Oh., 5 granddaughters, Sara (Jamie) Konvalinka, Molly Brammer, Jennilyn (John) Summy, Kaileigh Brammer, Breanna Brammer, 1 great granddaughter, Susan Konvalinka, 1 great grandson, John Summy Jr., 5 step grandchildren, Andrew (Laura) Blinn, Jill (Ron) Glass, Holly Blinn, Erin Blinn, Brock Blinn, 3 step great grandchildren, Gavin Blinn, Alaina Glass and Brady Glass. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Marion Brammer, Carl Brammer, Sherman Brammer, Paul Brammer, Burt Brammer, David Brammer, 5 sisters, Nellie Schotte, Lexie Mildred Schotte, Ora Grace Mosbarger, Rose Gier and Freidabel Brammer Pancake.
