Sharon Kay Burgess Huffine age 53 formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her residence in Meza, AZ.
She was born January 24, 1957 in Marion, Ohio. Sharon was the daughter of Ruby and Ronald Richards whom survive in Marion, OH, and the late John K. Sheehe.
A loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Sharon was the happiest spending time surrounded by her family. She also enjoyed participating in Harley-Davidson runs for charitable events such as St.Jude's Hospital. Her home was always open to the neighborhood kids and friends who all called her Grandma.
Sharon was best known for her spunky, out-spoken personality. She was the founder, president and CEO of the "Sharon is always right" foundation.
She fought a courageous battle with Leukemia and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Ronald and Ruby Richards of Marion, husband, Ron Huffine of CA., daughters, Tabatha K. Cole, Amanda L. Callahan and Nikki L. Burgess, grandchildren, Joseph Wilkins, Ryan Cole, Elizabeth Callahan, Zachary Parker, Shawnee Burgess, Adam Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Jazmyn Cole and Isaiah Celis, soon to be great grandchild, Sharon Izabella Renee Wilkins, sisters, Christine Sheehe of Marion, Linda (Terry) Crowe of Marion.
Funeral services for Sharon will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Keen officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation in Sharon's memory.
