Donald E. Griffith, age 56, of Marion passed away on Sunday morning, April 6, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Marion, Ohio on June 28, 1957 to the late Robert Eugene and Edna M. (Rider) Griffith.
Don was a graduate of Marion Harding High School and Marion Technical College where he obtained an Associates Degree. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ and along with his parents developed the Heritage Room at the church. Through his many years of employment, Don was a layout draftsman/designer for several different companies.
He is survived by his sister; Karen (Doug) Masters of Bowling Green, Oh., nephew; Ryan (Andrea) Masters, and a great niece; Kiersten Masters. Don was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Anita Lee Griffith, and his beloved dog; Goldrush.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. Pastor Gale Green will conduct the funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
