Mary Sue Toombs age 64 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her residence.
She was born February 19, 1950 in Marion, Ohio to the late Floyd and Mattie (Layne) Wilson.
A lifelong resident of Marion, Ohio she was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 8 years, was a member of American Legion Post #162, Moose Lodge #889 and Amvets Post #138.
Mary is survived by her children, Edward Lee (Lisa) Toombs Jr. of Marion, Oh., Bud (Steph) Toombs of Marion, Oh., Veronica Roberts of Chillicothe, Oh., Venessa (Jack) Brown of Marion, Oh., Companion and best friend for the past 20 years, Cliff Holycross Sr. of Marion, Oh., 15 grandchildren, J.D. Brown, Preston Toombs, Alan Roberts, Shantel Brown, Mariah Toombs, Alexus Toombs, Sarenity Toombs, Latorian Troutman, Radayja Peters, Clayton Holycross, Chris Holycross, Kyle Holycross, Brittany Persinger, Ashly Persinger, Christine Holycross, 9 great grandchildren, Olyvia Markley, Anessa Brown, Nautica Thacker, John Thacker, Mya Adams, Za’Riyah Glover, Little Tader (Baby boy Roberts) on the way, sisters, Sharon (Butch) McKnight of Fl., June (Gary) Mueck of Marion, Oh. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation for Mary will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 11, 2014 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Toombs, Rev. Harry Meade and Rev. Chris Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
