Rose A. Cooper, age 68, a lifelong resident of Marion, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at her home following a battle with cancer.
On January 24, 1946, Rose was born in Marion, the daughter of Orville and Veda Turner.
On March 14, 1964, Rose married the love of her life, Sonny L. Cooper, and they cherished their 50 years together. She also loved to ride horses and garden.
She will be missed by Sonny Cooper of Marion; two sons: Gary (Melissa) Cooper of Roy, WA, and Scott (Traci Clayton) Cooper of Marion; 4 grandchildren.
Services will be observed privately by her family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and they may be sent to the care of the funeral home.
