Bernadine T. Garrison age 80 of Marion passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Claremont Village in Columbus.
Born February 16, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Charles and Mary (Doyle) Strebar.
Bernadine retired from Whirlpool Corporation. She worked in the payroll department.
Bernadine is survived by one son, Joseph Purcell of Marion, two daughters, Catherine (David) Brown of LaRue, Marry (Garry) Thrush of Marion, her first husband William C. Purcell, two sisters Nell (Dennis) Blue of Richwood, Carol (Walter) Wehenkel of Port Clinton, six grandchildren, Joseph (Genevieve) Purcell, Alissa Brown, Jenni (Jake) Kovatch, Jeremiah Thrush, Jonathan (Amanda) Thrush, Tiffany Purcell, six great-grandchildren, Troy Thrush, Layton Thrush, Scarlett Purcell, Liam Purcell, Maci Thrush, Remi Kovatch, many nieces and nephews, She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Franklin D. Garrison who passed away in 1995, and two brothers, Charles and Maurice Strebar.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Father Thomas Buffer Presiding. Burial will be held in Marion Cemetery at a later date.
