Zachary A. Lanthron age 22 of Marion and Fort Knox, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Kentucky.
He was born July 11, 1991 in Marion the son of Gary N. and Connie F. (Blevins) Lanthron who survive in Marion.
He was joined in marriage on December 30, 2013 to Miriam (Hellalat) Lanthron who survives.
Zach graduated from Harding High School in 2009 and previously worked ay Whirlpool prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army in November of 2011. He served as a light wheel mechanic and had served in Afghanistan and currently was on active duty at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Also surviving Zach are a brother Joshua( Brittany) Blevins of Marion, grandparents, Louise Blevins and Melvin Thomas of Marion, the joy of his life, nephews Parker, Aiden, and Raylynn Blevins. He was proceeded in death by grandparents Garland and Pat Lanthron, aunt Linda Huggins, and uncle Troy Blevins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday May 13, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev. James McIntire Officiating. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery with full Military Honors.
