David Carl Maag Sr., age 56, of Marion passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Marion, Ohio on September 15, 1957 to the late Harry and Mary E. (Thomas) Maag.
David graduated from Marion Harding High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was employed for a short time at Great Lakes Charcoal before becoming disabled.
Surviving are 3 sons; David Carl (Kathy) Maag Jr. of South Carolina, Derrick & Dusty Maag both of Marion, Oh., a daughter; Ashley Dawn Maag of Larue, Oh., a brother; Randy Maag of Marion, Oh., 3 sisters; Betty Sue Thomas, Jackie Montgomery, & Mary Ann Davis all of Marion, Oh., and 10 grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by a son; Randy Maag.
No visiting hours will be observed. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date. Donations to the Maag Family may be made c/o the Boyd-Born Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
