Cleo R. Stakey age 95 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Morning View Care Center.
She was born February 23, 1919 in Marion, Ohio to the late Edward and Genievie (Brady) Schickedantz.
In 1939 she married William H. Stakey, he preceded her in death in 1998.
Cleo was a longtime resident of Marion, Ohio previously living in LaRue, Ohio. She graduated from Iberia High School, she was employed at The Galion Garmet Factory and Montgomery Ward.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Richard) Wilkinson of Tx., Debra Mawer of Marion, Oh., Diane Mahaffey of Tn., five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Grass and Dean Schickedantz, one sister, Helen Reinhart.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Chaplain David Dipietro officiating. Burial will follow at Larue Cemetery.
