Rita L. Otto, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at the Kindred Rehabilitation Center.
Rita was born on September 21, 1923 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Thomas and Bertha Bowman.
In 1966 she married Jacob Otto and he preceded her in death in 1999.
Rita was retired from the Techumseh Products Division of Marion. Rita was a volunteer for 13 years at the Community Med Center of Marion and loved flower gardening at the Marion Senior Center for many years.
She is survived by one daughter; Teri (Steve) Duprey of Prospect, Ohio, 4 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers & sisters, a son; Danny J. Schroll, and 3 step children; Rita Horn, Dick Otto, & Jeff Otto.
