The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing a trip to China this fall to provide an up close look at the economic impact of this major country while appreciating its rich history and culture. In 2013 China was the third largest export market for U.S. goods with a record of $122 billion. Over 160 Chinese cities boast populations of more than one million reflecting an economy rapidly expanding in so many areas.
The Chamber is partnering with Citslinc International Inc. to provide a 9 day, all-inclusive tour of Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai for $2,499 per person. Citslinc is one of the largest providers of foreign tours to China and works exclusively with over 800 Chambers of Commerce in Canada and the US.
You do not need to be a member of the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce to participate.
Prices (based on two person shared accommodations) are $2,499 per person for Chamber members and $2,749 for non-members.
This fully escorted trip is meant to be an introduction to the people, history, culture, commerce and daily life of this exciting country. There will be an opportunity for participants to make business contacts in China, if desired.
The trip departs on October 25, 2014, returning November 2, 2014 and will include:
- Roundtrip International airfare from JFK
- 4 and 5 star hotel accommodations
- Three meals per day
- All tour fees
- Deluxe in-country transportation and local airfare
- Experienced English-speaking tour guides
- All taxes and airport fees
There will be an information session at 5:30 pm on Thursday, June 12 at the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce 205 W. Center St. Large Conference Room to answer any questions you may have. Deadline for registration is August 1, 2014.
