Donald Dutcher, age 56, of Marion passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Marion General Hospital.
He was born May 17th, 1958 in Marysville, Ohio, the son of Robert and Betty Dutcher.
On October 21st, 1978 he married Joyce (Skivers) Dutcher. He graduated from Pleasant High School in 1977.
Don worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 36 years and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by one daughter; Amanda Jones of Marion, one son and daughter-in-law; Nathan & Noel Dutcher of Westerville, 4 grandchildren; Haleigh, Brayden, and Maleigha Jones of Marion, and Aiden Dutcher of Westerville, one brother-in-law; Mark Skivers of Indiana, one sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Jill & Scott Rayburn of Marion, and one sister; Beth Vannett, one nephew; Michael Skivers of Marion, two nieces; Natalie & Kimberly Skivers of Indiana, his best buddy; Willie Harrah of Marion, and all his friends & fishing buddies at Whirlpool. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Bob & Mike Dutcher, and one son-in-law; Jeremy Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Grand Prairie Cemetery with the Rev. Dwight Hord officiating.
