Thomas Frank Webster, age 90, of Marion, Ohio died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Marion General Hospital. Born June 11, 1924 in Altoona, Pa. to the late Joshua and Amy (Lindley) Webster.
In 1967 he married the late Willa Mae Hanshaw who preceded him in death in 2005.
Tom served in WWII as an M.P. He retired from Armco Steel. He then drove the Care-A-Van for Marion Towers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister; Ethel Rupp, brother; Jack Webster, son; Ronnie Webster, and stepson; Larry Hanshaw. He is survived by 3 stepsons; Ernie (Jan) Hanshaw, Gerald (Karen) Hanshaw, & Keith (Nancy) Hanshaw, 6 grandchildren; Jeanna Hanshaw, Todd (Kim) Hanshaw, Brent (Heather) Hanshaw, Michael Hanshaw, Sue Webster, & Stephanie Webster, niece; Jill (Rupp) Peacock, and nephew; Jack Rupp. He was blessed with many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Rick Farmer on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
