Jonathan L. Griffith age 55 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Sunday June 29, 2014 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on March 9, 1959 in Marysville, Ohio to the late Russell J. and Delores Babe (Eggleston) Griffith.
Jon had an active work life for a few years and he took great pride and joy in his lawn care business that he had. Jon was always on the go.
He is survived by a daughter and two sons; Sabrina (Timothy) Bentley, Jesse Elsasser, and Ben Meachem all of Marion, Ohio, as well as five grandchildren survive. Jon also leaves behind four brothers; Michael L. Griffith of Marion, Ohio, Russell J. Griffith of N.Y., Ronald J. Griffith of N.Y., and Jamie Griffith of Marion, Ohio.
Besides his parents, Jon was preceded in death by a sister Nora and three brothers, Ben, T.J., and Randy.
There will be a Memorial Service for Jon on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Barry Hensley. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service from 6 to 7 P.M.
