Gary J. Grant age 42 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born March 16, 1972 in London, England to Lloyd and Beverly (Taffe) Grant.
On September 11, 2012 he married Mona J. (Hamrick) Grant, she survives in Marion.
Gary was Pentecostal Faith, attended King’s Temple Apostolic Church in Marion and was manager at Rent-A-Center for 7 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mona J. Grant of Marion, OH., his mother, Beverly Taffe of Brooklyn, NY., his grandmother, Elizabeth Taffe of Kingston, Jamaica; three children, Jeremy A. (fiancee-Amanda Aller) Jones of Marion, OH., Justin M. (fiancee- Nancy Talbot) Jones of Gilbert, AZ., Jade K. (fiance- Shannon Saylor) Jones of Marion, OH., 13 grandchildren, his brother, Paul A. Grant of London, England and numerous friends.
Visitation for Gary will be Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 14, 2014 @ 11AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Loma Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
