Family and friends of Lucas Trippett are holding a fund raiser golf outing on August 16, 2014 at Green Acres Golf Course. Five-year-old Luke was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of three.
Proceeds from the golf outing will go towards the purchase of a diabetic alert dog from Heads Up Hounds of Omaha, Nebraska. The family hopes to raise about $8,000 to pay for the dog as well as travel expenses. Luke has already picked out the name Hank for his future helper and friend.
The golf outing is a three-person scramble with a shot gun start at 1:00pm.
The deadline to register is August 8, 2014.
