Marty R. Bentley age 50 of Harpster, Ohio, went to be with his Lord due to an extended illness on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born May 14, 1964 in Pikeville, Ky. to the late Paul and Nola (Price) Bentley.
Marty is survived by a daughter, Cheyenne and two sisters and four brothers; Justine (Scotty) Little of Minford, Ohio, Juanita (John) Cordle of Mansfield, Ohio, Virl (Patsy) Bentley of Mansfield, Ohio, Dewey (Maleaha) Bentley of Harpster, Ohio, James (Sandy) Bentley of LaRue, Ohio, and Rick Bentley of Marion, Ohio. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Marty was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers; Sharlot, Caroline, Shelba Jean, Roy, Dwayne, and Gregory.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the White Oaks Rd. Freewill Baptist Church, 1859 White Oaks Rd., Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Dickerson. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M.
