Linda Kay Ferguson, 71, of Marion passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at 9:55 p.m. in the Heartland of Marion.
She was born on July 5, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to the late Robert Fay and Jean Viola (Huntsman) Ballinger.
Linda was a past member of Eagles Lodge 337 and Moose Lodge 889. She was owner and operator of Garrett Investigations for over 40 years before her retirement.
Surviving are a son; Terry Lee (Tina) Barlow of Marion, Oh., 3 daughters; Robin (Bob) Williams, Laura Sedlock, & Tonya Barlow all of Marion, Oh., 4 brothers; Bobby (Joyce) Ballinger, Tom (Debby) Ballinger, Danny “Pete” Ballinger, & William “Billy” Ballinger all of Marion, Oh., 3 sisters; Deborah Ball of Marysville, Oh., Teresa Phillips of Marion, Oh., & Nancy (Chris) Stewart of Marion, Oh., 12 grandchildren; Brandi, Andrea, Holly, Shane, Taylor, Matthew, Josh, Josh, Tori, Makayla, Haley, & Jacob, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Allen Lane Barlow and 1 sister; Barbara Ballinger.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. Rev. Barkley Slone will conduct the funeral service on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with burial at a later date in the Marion Cemetery.
