Craig Allen Stevens age 50 of Marion passed away Monday September 8, 2014 of a prolonged illness of a year.
Craig was born June 11, 1964 in Marion to the late Earl Stevens and Patricia Purcell Stevens who survives.
He graduated from Ridgedale High School in 1982.
Craig enjoyed hunting and was a gun collector.
Craig is survived by his mother Patricia, two sons Shane and Evan Stevens both of Marion, two brothers Mark Stevens, Brian (Joni) Stevens of East Liberty, Ohio, aunt and uncle Kermit and Juanita Nicholas of Goose Creek South Carolina, Barbara Purcell , Stephen and Kay Purcell of Marion, nephews Tyler, Corey, Dylan Stevens, Brandon, Cory and Jarrod Cooper and niece Kayli Stevens, and many close cousins that he grew up with and loved.
Craig is preceded in death by his father Earl Stevens, grandparents Grover and Dorothy Stevens, Walter and Marjorie Purcell and Aunt Juanita Stevens.
No calling hours will be observed. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 13, 2014 at St Mary Church with Father Thomas Buffer Presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
