U.S. Men Draw with Honduras 1-1

U.S. Men’s National Team forward and Boca Raton native Jozy Altidore stepped up in front of his hometown crowd with an early goal and the USA  played Honduras to a 1-1 draw Tuesday in front of 14,805 spectators at FAU Stadium.

Altidore’s tally in the 10th minute gave his side the early lead. However, Honduras captain Maynor Figueroa found the late equalizer in the 86th minute and the U.S. settled for its second tie in four days after a 1-1 stalemate against Ecuador last Friday.

USA goalkeeper Nick Rimando remains unbeaten in his National Team career, moving to 10-0-2. He had two saves on the night.
