June Marie Yake, age 85, of Waldo, passed away peacefully Sunday morning October 19, 2014 at home. June was born in Kenton, OH on June 18, 1929 to the late Clifford Rogers and Cleora Brown. She was a graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School in 1948. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. June loved butterflies and worked at Sears.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Dewey Yake; daughters, Ronda (Roy, Jr.) Roberts, of Zanesfield, Londa (Tom Sr.) O’Brien of Marion, Anita Sharrock of Galion; son, Scott (Dianne) Yake of Marion; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Emanuel Lutheran Church with Kevin Kehn, AIM officiating. Visitation will take place one hour before the service. Burial will follow in The Waldo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are handling arrangements.
