Michael L. Mutter age 68 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Monday November 10, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born March 17, 1946 in Marengo, Ohio to the late Bunion and Ethel (Craig) Mutter.
Michael was retired from the former Parker Hanafan Company in Green Camp, Ohio.
He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion and was very active in the church. He was a member of Men in Mission in the church and was involved for many years with the youth group. Michael was also active with the local Boy Scouts. For many years Michael did the videos for the Ridgedale Football Games. He was an avid golfer, was an avid bicycle rider, was active in a local scooter club, loved camping, and he was an avid out doors type of guy. Michael was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Michael is survived by two daughters and a son; Tammy (Jonathan) Dunham of Hampton, Va., Jennifer (Richard) Zimmer of Verona, N.J., and Jon M. (Julie) Mutter of Powell, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Courtney, Nathaniel, Benjamin, and Samuel as well as a sister, Sylvia Rothstein of Long Island, N.Y.
Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral Services will be on Friday November 14, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Schuring. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday November 13, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M.
