Mary Louise (Keefe) Baldauf, age 82, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 after an extended illness.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 11, 1932 to Lawrence and Rena (Lakia) Keefe.
On July 2, 1955, she married the love of her life, the late John E. Baldauf.
Mary Lou was the mother and steadfast supporter of the late Fred L., Jeff (Amy), Jane (Steve) Jepson, Maureen (Doug) Cones, and Molly (Mark) Dorsey. She was a gentle, affectionate grandmother to Jonathan and Thomas Baldauf; Lauren, John, David and Megan Rose Jepson; Bethany, Josh, Chris, and Seth Cones and Michael Dorsey. She was the loyal and fun-loving sister of Jeanne and Lawrence, and the late Virginia and Kathleen.
Mary Lou touched the lives of countless children throughout her many years as a teacher at St. Mary’s School. She also was a devoted CCD teacher and longtime Meals on Wheels volunteer. Her genuine warmth and selfless nature endeared her to all. Her quiet strength provided a strong foundation upon which her family heavily relied, and she will be deeply missed.
Friends may call Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A mass of celebration will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marion, Ohio, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
