Alice V. Smith age 85 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born August 31, 1925 in Alba, Ohio to the late Arthur T. and Minnie E. (Blair) Hupp.
On September 22, 1962 she married Perry Dale Smith, he preceded her in death on February 25, 1991.
Alice loved being around her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking, crotchet and could grow anything beautiful in her garden or flowers around the house.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Bill (Mary) Napper of Morral, Phillip (Margie) Napper of Marion, Dale (Linda) Smith of Marion, Virginia (Keith) Manning of Marion, Edna (Tyrone) Trujillo of Marion, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Bertha Thomas of Norwalk, Oh., Ruth Hale of Marion, a brother, Clyde (Jenny) Hupp of Trimble, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Hupp and Dayton Hupp, one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Visitation for Alice will be Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 10 AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
