Ida M. Beach age 93 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 6, 1921 in Auburn, Maine to the late Horace V. amd Flora B. (Stroute) Sylvester.
On December 20, 1942 in Mechanic Falls, Maine, she married Rollin D. Beach he preceded her in death on September 19, 1997.
Ida was born and raised in Maine, was a resident of Marion, Ohio for 50 plus years where she was a member of Prospect Street United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose #448, a life member of American Legion Auxillary #584, VFW #7201 Women’s Auxiliary and was a Rosie the Riveter during WWII.
She is survived by her son, Timothy R. (Rose) Beach of Pataskala, Oh., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Ida was preceded in death by her four brothers, Maynard, Vinton, Rodney and Robert Sylvester and her sister, Helen Parsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to Prospect Steet United Methodist Church.
