Betty J. Williams age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at her residence.
She was born August 25, 1948 in Marion, Ohio to the late Clyde E. and Donna M. (Dutton) Phillips.
On June 12, 1966 she married Allen W. Williams Sr.
Betty was a lifetime resident of Marion, Ohio where she was employed at Marion City Schools for several years as a janitor, Marion City Transit, General Sales Market and Community Market as a cashier.
She is survived by her husband, Allen W. Williams Sr. of Marion; her three children, Amanda (Kevin) Stults of Marion, Allen Williams Jr. of Marion, Heather Williams of Marion; eight grandchildren two great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas E. Phillips of Marion, Steve A. Phillips of Marion, Ronald L. (Caryl) Phillips of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 from 1 – 4 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, January 12, 2015 at 4 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Elder Steve Phillips officiating. Burial will take place at a late date.
