Alice L. Baker, age 91, of Marion passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 6:35 a.m. in her home.
She was born in Barbousville, West Virginia on September 4, 1923 to Russell and Ella (Black) Forth.
In 1982, Alice married Charles Baker and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church and a lifelong homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, John (Debbie) Tallman of Marion, OH. and Gary (Wilma) Tallman of Harpster, OH.; four daughters, Donna (Gary) Deemer, Debbie (Phil) Adey, Joyce (Mark) Velazco, and Sharon (Larry) Buchanan all of Marion, OH.; 14 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Bernard Tallman, one brother, and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Oakland United Methodist Church, 835 Bellefontaine Ave., Marion, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Pastor Ralph Velazco will be officiating and burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery.
