Nina J. Overturf, age 81 formerly of Centerburg passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Bashford Health Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born on October 2, 1929 in Frankfort, Ohio to the late Earl and Mary Vincent.
A Centerburg area resident for over 50 years, she worked as a registered nurse for Dr. Carl Godshall of Sunbury and Dr. Thomas in Delaware. She also worked at several nursing homes in Centerburg. Always the hard worker, she was forever dedicated to her career and the care of her patients.
She is survived by son: Jim (Brenda) Overturf of Louisville, a daughter: Sue Overturf of Sunbury, and sister: Pat Vincent of Delaware.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: Donald E. Overturf in 1980 and son John in 1979.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR’s 3 at 61 in Sunbury. A private graveside service will take place in Trenton Cemetery for her family.
