Deloris June Gould age 80 of Marion, Ohio peacefully went to be with her family and her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1930 in Larue, Ohio to Clyde and Faye C. (Whitman) Wittibslager.
On April 19, 1947 she married Clarence M. "Marty" Gould, he preceded her in death on November 20, 2003.
June started working at a young age starting at Isaly's, then Bowen's Ice Cream Shop. She then was the dispatcher in the 70's at the Marion Ohio State Patrol office and retired after 16 years from State Farm Insurance Company in Marion. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Marion, taught sunday school at Fite Memorial Baptist Church in Marion, and also taught unity sunday school at First Baptist in Lima.
June is survived by her mother- Faye C. Wittibslager Kurtz of Marion, OH., four children, Amy L. Huber of Forest, OH., Dana R. (Cindy) Gould of Hanover, IL., Ron A. Gould of Bucyrus, OH., Darren A. (Kathy) Gould of Marion, OH., eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother, Richard "Dick" (Beth) Kurtz of Bellefountaine, OH., a sister, Lucille (Kenny) Norton of Marion, OH., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Wittibslager, her husband, Clarence "Marty" Gould, a son, James M. Huber, and two brothers, Bud Wittibslager and John Wittibslager.
Visitation for June will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 2- 4 and 6-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio 43302. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011 (10 AM) at Trinity Baptist Church, 244 S. Main St. Marion, Ohio with Dr. Richard Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
