Ernestine “Ernie” Rorick age 78 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born January 24, 1937 in Betsylane, Ky. to the late Jim and Zella (Robbins) Castle.
On April 9, 1954 she married Gene E. Rorick, he preceded her in death on October 12, 2010.
Ernestine was a member of First United Church of Christ, she retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 24 years of service.
She is survived by her five children, Jeanie (David) Eby of Powell, OH., Janet (Mark) Arwood of Hilliard, OH., Jill (Christopher) Temple of Marion, OH., Jackie (Todd) Schwaderer of Marion, OH., Jim (Jill) Rorick of Dublin, OH., 11 grandchildren, Alan Eby, Meghan Arwood, Trevor Arwood, Christina Seabold, Cory (Bethani) Temple, Kyle Rice, Dustin Schwaderer, Jenna Joseph, Benjamin Rorick, Nathan Rorick, Peyton Rorick, 7 great grandchildren, Arron, Emma and Brady Seabold, Cambree and Benton Temple, Kayden and Leah Rice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Blaine Hall who raised her, a brother, Jack Castle and her granddaughter, Holly Marie.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 12 – 3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Tom Beckel officiating. Burial will follow at Green Camp Cemetery.
