In Ohio alone, 6 deaths a day are related to a drug overdose. Drug abuse affects every community and life in Ohio.
Tyler’s Light was founded by Wayne and Christy Campbell after the loss of their college aged son overdosed and died. Their mission is to equip communities with information and resources to help people choose a drug-free life, while providing resources for family members and/or friends who are involved in the battle against addiction.
If you would like to learn the signs of drug abuse and how you can be the first line of defense when it comes to your child’s drug use or drinking, Marion County School Nurses and Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board invites you to join them for a free presentation on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
Tyler’s Light is a nationally recognized Drug Education and Awareness Program that works with schools, students, parents, and community members to fight addiction. Tyler’s Light will be seen by students at Tri Rivers Career Center, Elgin, and Ridgedale on April 16, 2015. An evening session will then be presented, at no charge and open to everyone, at Cornerstone Alliance Church, 2010 Marion-Marysville Road in Marion. The presentation will run from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
