Wilmer E. Bibler age 89 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Kingston Residence of Marion.
He was born April 4, 1926 in Marion, Ohio to the late Cecil J. and Hannah (Miller) Bibler.
On December 4,1944 in Walkegan, IL., he married Marjorie Ann (Branch) Bibler, she preceded her in death on November 6, 2008.
Wilmer was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII. He was a carpenter and a builder his entire life, he and his father built many homes in Mansfield. He retired from General Motors after 30 years as a carpenter.
He is survived by his children, Wyatt (Becky) Bibler of Marion, OH., Sandra (Michael) Frye of Mansfield, OH., five grandchildren, Mark Frye of Mansfield, OH., Steven Frye of Chicago, IL., Brandi (Brett) Davis of Portsmouth, OH., Nikki (Mohsin) Zaidi of Ann Arbor, MI., Derek (Megan) Bibler of Hillard, OH., two great grandchildren, Emma Bibler and Copper Davis, sister, Arlene Marshall of Morral, OH., and his very special friend, Dolly Sullivan of Marion, OH.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 11 – 12 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM with Pastor Mark Schuring officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery with military honors conducted by Marion County Veterans Council.
