Richard L. “Bear Cat” Dall, age 63 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
Richard was born on May 14, 1951 in Marion to the late George K. and Myrtle (Joy) Dall.
On April 20, 1973, he married Lula J. Sullivan, and she survives.
Richard was an MP in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended Euclid Avenue Mission Church and was a machinist at Tecumseh Products for 10 years.
Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald W. Dall and George “Eddie” Dall, three sisters, Joy Lane, Nancy Fix and Carol Bailes, and an infant granddaughter.
Surviving Richard are his wife, Lula, daughters, Norma J. (James) Kilgore of Elmore, AL and Emma P. Oney of Marion, his son, Richard L. Dall II of Marion, brother, Larry (Phyllis) Dall of Marion, two sisters, Doris “Sue” (Barry) Hill of Florida, and Sandy (Bill) Scofield of Nebraska, as well as 16 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service for Richard will be on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bob Jones. Interment will follow at a later date.
