Joseph L. Davis Sr., age 82, of Peru, Indiana, and formerly of Marion and Zanesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Joseph honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.
For many years, Joseph worked on the railroad for the Erie-Lackawanna Railway.
He will be missed by his wife, Rosetta Davis; seven children: Joseph Davis Jr., Paul Davis, Kenneth Davis, Jeffrey Davis, Patricia Wright, Brenda Fabian and Kathy Scott; a brother, Herbert Davis; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be observed privately by his family. Burial will be at a later date in Zanesville, Ohio.
