Rosalee Tackett Woods, age 82, of Marion passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at 3:20 p.m. in her residence.
She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on April 6, 1933 to the late Crit and Mary (Bentley) Tackett.
Rosalee married Corbett W. Woods in Pikevile, Kentucky on October 25, 1950 and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio.
The lifelong homemaker has been a Marion resident for over 60 years and is survived by two sons; Ronald (Carla) Woods of LaRue, OH. and Robert (Konnie) Woods of Jefferson, City, TN., two daughters; Brenda (Paul) Walker of New Bloomington, OH. and Barbara (Harvey) Ramsey-Erlewine of Marion, OH., two sisters; Virginia Gibson and Emma (Jack) Robinson both of Marion, OH., 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Rosalee was preceded in death by three brothers; Egar, Estile, & Bobbie Tackett.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held in the Grand Prairie Cemetery on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Dwight Hord will officiate.
