Tired of the gym? Want a challenge? Want camaraderie and fun? The Marion Marauderz are inviting you to try out for their women’s flat track roller derby team. The tryouts are set for Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
The $5 tryout fee will get you padded up and skates on. Don’t know much about roller derby? The Marauderz will be running a clinic of the basic how to’s to get you started.
Those trying out must be female and at least 18-years-old. Pizza and drinks provided.
The tryouts will be held at Zoomers Skate Club, 1683 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road in Marion.
The Marion Marauderz’ mission is “to have fun, showcase our athleticism, and release our inner hero.”
