Bailey Nicole “Bay” WitzelBailey Nicole “Bay” Witzel, age 19, of Marion, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, May 21, 2015.

On August 21, 1995, Bailey was born in Marion, Ohio, the youngest of three children of Bobbi (May) Blanton and Jerry Witzel.  She proudly graduated from Rushmore Academy in 2014.

Bailey was a very loving and compassionate person, always seeing the best in everyone, who loved life.  She loved to listen to music all day every day, camping, drag racing with her family in LaRue, and hanging out with her friends, nephew and precious daughter.

Recently, Bailey found peace and comfort attending Mayes Community Temple Church.

She will be dearly missed by her 18 month old daughter, Faith; her mother, Bobbi Blanton of Marion; her father, Jerry Witzel of Cardington; two siblings: Brittany May of Marion, and Ty (Kerianne) Witzel of Cardington; her grandparents: Robert May of Marysville, Diana May of Mt. Victory, and Stan Witzel of Marion; a special nephew, Brayden Witzel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janice Witzel; and by her great-grandparents: Howard May and Helen May, Herbert and Geneva Witzel, and Earl and Irene Fleming.

Her family will greet friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 29th, at the Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W. Center St., Marion.  Services honoring her life will also be held there at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with Pastor Joel Fetter officiating.  Burial will follow in Windfall Cemetery in Cardington.
