David P. Pierce, age 80, of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at Heartland of Marion.
He was born December 22, 1934 in Marion, Ohio to the late Donald and Myrtle (Bonsel) Pierce.
On June 19, 1955 he married Janis (Worthington) Pierce, she survives in Marion and shared 59 years of marriage.
David was employed at Blank’s Agri Service for 40 years.
He is survived by his children, Deanna Miller of Marion, Donald Pierce of Marion, and granddaughter; Anya Miller of Marion. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Area Humane Society. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
