Monica Rall, age 81, of Marion, passed away 8:40 PM on June 2, 2015 at home. She was born on March 7, 1934 in Vicksburg, MS to the late William and Christine Snyder.
She graduated in 1952 from Villa Maria High School in PA. She then moved to Upper Sandusky, OH to make her home with her Aunt and Uncle Helene and Jack Herald and family. There she met her future husband, John Rall, who survives. On October 30, 1954, Monica and John were married at St. Peter’s Church in Upper Sandusky, OH.
Also surviving are three children: Sharon (Jeff) Isler of Prospect, OH, Michael (Tammy) Rall of Stafford, VA, and William (Roblynn) Rall of Mercer Island, WA. Monica is also survived by six grandsons, Adam Isler of Prospect, OH, Nicholas, Andrew (Anna), Jonathan (Jessica), and Daniel Rall of VA., and Thomas Rall of Mercer Island, WA.
She was predeceased by brother, Gayle (Resauda) Snyder of Tuscan, AZ on April 28, 2015.
Monica was a homemaker and in 1982, after she and her husband purchased Hughes Photography Studio, she worked as office manager until they retired in 2006.
Family members will greet friends from 2 until 5PM Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday, June 8, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
