Get out your polishing cloth and shine up your antique and/or classic cars. Primrose Retirement Community, 1550 Wellness Drive, is hosting its first Annual Carla Dysert Car Show 11 am to 3 pm Saturday, June 20 in the front parking lot at the community.
There will be food and drink available, raffles and 50/50 drawing. All proceeds benefit the Carla Dysert Foundation.
Dysert was formerly the Executive Director of Primrose Retirement Community in Lima and lost her life in a head on collision last November. A dream of Dysert was for no resident to have to leave the retirement community for lack of finances. For that reason, the foundation has been established. Dysert’s son, Zac, is the back-up quarterback to Peyton Manning on the Denver Broncos Football team. The Broncos made a significant donation to get the foundation started and many communities, such as Marion, are conducting fundraisers to make her dream become a reality.
