City of Marion set to begin mosquito fogging

The City of Marion Parks Department said they will begin their mosquito fogging operations later this week. These operations will occur on Thursday or Friday mornings, typically between 4:00am and 7:00am and last throughout the summer as needed and as weather permits.

The areas that will be sprayed will rotate based on the mosquito populations.

City residents with respiratory conditions are advised to keep their windows and doors closed during these hours.
