Beverly Ann Taylor, age 67, of Marion, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday evening, July 8, 2015, at home following countless battles with her health.
On February 12, 1948, Beverly was born in Marion, Ohio, one of seven children of the late Leo and Frances (Everly) Large. Always there for her family, Bev left school early to help with her siblings.
For well over ten years, Bev worked in training for the Abbott Company, until she was no longer able to work due to her health.
Beverly enjoyed attending church at Euclid Avenue Mission Church. She also loved playing Bingo and euchre with her family and friends, and watching her favorite shows.
A “love magnet”, anyone who knew Bev couldn’t help but to love her. Such a sweetheart, she showered everyone with love. She was the “neighborhood Mom” to everyone, because her door was always open with a hug waiting for you, both coming and going. She cherished every moment spent with her family, and most especially with her precious grandbabies. Just the sight of them would brighten her whole day. Her family will forever be grateful for her…she was the best wife, mother and grandmother they could ever ask for.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jonathan Taylor Sr.; three children: Frank (Bobbie) Large, Jonathan Taylor Jr., and Andrea Taylor; eight grandchildren: Justin Stapleton, Nikki (Matt) Cain, April Large, Andrew, Jacob and Samuel Taylor, and Taylor and Autumn Rupright; four siblings: Harley Large, Pamela (Jack) Brown, Leah (Gene) Abrams, Darlene (Bruce) Underwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two siblings: Barb Edwards and Dallas Large; and a sister-in-law, Rosie Large.
Her family will greet friends from 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 12th, at the Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 W. Center St., Marion. Services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Bob Jones officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with unexpected expenses. They may be sent to the care of the funeral home.
Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, a division of Snyder Funeral Homes, are honored to have been chosen to serve Bev’s family and your condolences may be expressed to them by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com.
